The Wait stands for a unified state of mind, and for the present precarious and unstable situation of the younger people living in rural areas. The Wait of a youth that’s still searching for a better future, a future which many of them have been denied, a youth that’s still eager to see their dreams come true. These photographs reveal glimpses of daily life, in those place where, each of them waiting for their own Godot, the young ones seek an escape from the ordinary, they seek fun, pleasure, happiness, love, and sometimes, death.
